Autotab turns guitar recordings into tabs entirely inside your browser. Recordings and loaded audio files are not uploaded to a server and are not stored.
What data is processed
- Microphone access only after you allow it, and only locally in this tab.
- Audio, detected notes and tabs stay on your device.
- Settings such as countdown, sensitivity and detection mode may be kept in your browser's local storage. No cookies, no tracking, no accounts.
- On first detection a model is downloaded from this site (Basic Pitch) and may stay in your browser cache. In Accurate mode CREPE is loaded locally in addition.
Hosting
Autotab is hosted as a static website on Vercel (Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA). This produces technical access data (for example IP address, time, requested files) in server logs. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in operating the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). That data is unrelated to your recording, which never leaves your browser.
Your rights
No personal audio data is stored by the operator. For requests, use the address given in the legal notice.
